Chuck Hansen

I was born and raised on a farm near Prairie Rose State Park, north of Walnut, Iowa. Growing up on a farm was a perfect match for my personality. I enjoyed the seasonal changes, being outdoors, the livestock, and pheasant hunting in the fall. I especially enjoyed working with my dad and eating my mother’s delicious homemade meals.

After graduating from college, I worked with teenagers in Dublin, California just east of San Francisco. My wife Nancy and I were married in 1970 and moved to Rochester the following year. Prior to entering real estate in 1976, I was employed with the Rochester Methodist Hospital.

We are very proud of our three children and their spouses and, like typical grandparents, are deeply in love with our six beautiful grandchildren. Being a grandpa is, without a doubt, my favorite time of life. We feel we are blessed beyond measure.

My favorite pastimes include spending time with my family, especially our grandchildren, bike riding on the Root River Trail in the Lanesboro area, reading, and hobby photography. I also enjoy fishing in Canada, Northern Minnesota, and on the Mississippi River with my son Chad. Nancy and I enjoy traveling. We have visited seven European Countries and celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary in Seattle and Alaska.
